In the 8th minute, Haroldo Sanches had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Flamengo made a substitution. Gugu Saraiva replaced Haroldo Sanches. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Argos Web Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gugu Saraiva during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Argos Web Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, Argos Web Clube's Cafu Santana got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caio Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Seco in the 54th minute of play. João Paulo Paulista's late challenge caught a Argos Web Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Paulo Paulista helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo Paulista to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by José da Mata in the 57th minute really tested Caio Cosme's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
