Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adilson Coelho started the match with the kick off. When Cícero Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ipoeiras SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cícero Sampaio couldn't finish the play. Luiz Fábio Vieira made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Júnior Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Ipoeiras SC's zone, Júnior Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fábio Vieira came out of the goal and Júnior Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chernobyll booed when Ipoeiras SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cauan Valladares hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Gonçalo Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fábio Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Coelho in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Chernobyll's Júnior Queiroz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Fábio Vieira. Luiz Fábio Vieira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Júnior Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Luiz Fábio Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Chernobyll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Cícero Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Alex Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipoeiras SC. After 37 minutes, Ezequiel Quadros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ipoeiras SC and the Chernobyll players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Ipoeiras SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Quadros to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Moisés Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipoeiras SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 68 minutes, Júnior Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chernobyll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júnior Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Júnior Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Chernobyll's Adilson Coelho in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ipoeiras SC's goalie prevented a goal. Adilson Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Moisés Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Catarinense having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Cauan Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gonçalo Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ipoeiras SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Quirino couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes Chernobyll got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Mello.
