Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute, Gonçalo Gaspar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eusébio de Amorim. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Braga in the 10th minute of play forced Cabacas AD's goalkeeper Nilson Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Mané Braga sped through Cabacas AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nilson Luz. Garuva SC's Murilo Linares got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mané Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Gonçalo Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabacas AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute Gonçalo Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiori Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Eusébio de Amorim made a huge save. After 29 minutes, Pedro Augusto de Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garuva SC and the Cabacas AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Augusto de Mendonça hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eusébio de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 34th minute when Gonçalo Gaspar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fiori Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio de Amorim having to interfere. In the 40thth minute of the game Gonçalo Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garuva SC's Eusébio de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fiori Freire might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio de Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fiori Freire ran back to his position shaking his head. Gonçalo Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murilo Linares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Gaspar in the 51st minute of play forced Garuva SC's goalkeeper Eusébio de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Gaspar in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio de Amorim saved Garuva SC from getting behind. Fiori Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusébio de Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Murilo Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Nilson Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Garuva SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cabacas AD:s goal. Cabacas AD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vágner Gonçalves in the 70th minute. A well done corner resulted in Gonçalo Gaspar drilling the ball in to score 4-1 behind Garuva SC's goalkeeper. In the 73rd minute, Fiori Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Gaspar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusébio de Amorim. Garuva SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonçalo Gaspar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Cabacas AD's Nilson Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Linares in the 81st minute of play. Gonçalo Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Fiori Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Freire in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cabacas AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Garuva SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
