Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raí de Alcântara took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Raí de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raí de Alcântara took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edson Rezende. Edson Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. AA Cedro's Wilian Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save AA Cedro from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, AA Cedro's Pedro Augusto Meirelles got a free kick in the 14th minute. Clemente Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Salgado having to interfere. Wilian Salgado made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Clemente Silva sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, AA Cedro's Pedro Augusto Meirelles got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Wilian Salgado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adriano Queirós. Clemente Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Wilian Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clóvis Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Clemente Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 49 minutes into the match, AA Cedro's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Salgado came free, but Wilian Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 49 minutes into the match, Clóvis Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilian Salgado. AA Cedro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clóvis Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clóvis Salgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Arrecife was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clóvis Salgado in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilian Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clóvis Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Edson Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Edson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raí de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Rezende having to interfere. If Dé Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
