Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Edmílson Barbosa made the kick off and thus started the match. Bruninho Vinhas hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tornado FC's zone, Raí de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulinho Freitas came out of the goal and Raí de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raí de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th match minute, AA Cedro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 13 minutes, Ulysses Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tornado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulysses Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Tornado FC defense, Dé Medeiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulinho Freitas. The Tornado FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulinho Freitas should have stopped the shot. After 22nd play minutes Ulysses Esteves shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Wilian Salgado and just under the crossbar into goal. AA Cedro's Wilian Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Barbosa in the 26th minute of play. After 26 played minutes AA Cedro got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Loyola. Zé Augusto Cardoso hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes of play, Tornado FC's Edmílson Barbosa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilian Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 42 minutes, Ulysses Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tornado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulysses Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruninho Vinhas charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho Vinhas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The AA Cedro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tornado FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Raí de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. Raí de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Freitas having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Tornado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Raí de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. AA Cedro's supporters rose to their feet, but Raí de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulinho Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí de Alcântara in the 59th minute of play forced Tornado FC's goalkeeper Paulinho Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Ulysses Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Wilian Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dé Medeiros hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ulysses Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Wilian Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilian Salgado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Raí de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarbas Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Arí Mangueira lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 93 minutes into the game, one of Tornado FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for AA Cedro. Washington Bastos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulinho Freitas. 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí de Alcântara in the 99th minute of play forced Tornado FC's goalkeeper Paulinho Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tornado FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tornado FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
