M.O.T.OR fc's Mazinho de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Arruda in the 10th minute of play. Nelson das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Mazinho de Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adalberto Coutinho went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, M.O.T.OR fc's Mazinho de Lara got control of the ball when Yuri Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Furia Futebol Clube booed when M.O.T.OR fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Arruda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mazinho de Lara having to make a save. Furia Futebol Clube's Rodolfo Carneiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mazinho de Lara but with some difficulty. After having played for 45 minutes, Orlando de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. M.O.T.OR fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Valadares got free with Mazinho de Lara in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelson das Neves made a kick off. Orlando de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Furia Futebol Clube defense, Gonçalo Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Nascimento. The Furia Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Nascimento should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Nelson das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mazinho de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. M.O.T.OR fc's Nelson das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Furia Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson das Neves came free, but André Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the M.O.T.OR fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Furia Futebol Clube.
