After a defensive mix-up in Acucena's zone, Yuri Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Zanette came out of the goal and Yuri Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute Agnaldo Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Agnaldo Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdo Quaresma struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. André Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acucena. A collision led to Furia Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ronaldão Silva hit a great ball. André Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Diniz's late challenge caught a Furia Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. 30 minutes into the game, one of Acucena:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 36 played minutes Acucena got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Quadros. Marcelinho Zanette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuri Valadares in the 38th minute. If Adriano Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Quaresma, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Agnaldo Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 52nd minute, Yuri Valadares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of André Nascimento, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 68 minutes, Clemente Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Furia Futebol Clube and the Acucena players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Clemente Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zé Roberto Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acucena's protests and gave Zé Roberto Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Acucena getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Zé Roberto Ferreira hit a great ball. André Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agnaldo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Nascimento having to interfere. André Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Valdo Quaresma sent off a good shot on target. Marcelinho Zanette came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Furia Futebol Clube's Yuri Valadares. But to his dismay, Yuri Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Valdo Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Nascimento having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Adriano Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marcelinho Zanette was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Acucena players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Furia Futebol Clube.
