Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iuri de Queirós took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Iuri de Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caco Goiano was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 6th match minute, Tulu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute of the match Bernardo Cordeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caco Goiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Caco Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iuri de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Iuri de Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tulu FC's Caco Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, Vitorinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Novaes to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Tulu FC's Filipe Netto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 18th minute, Iuri de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caco Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri de Queirós in the 22nd minute of play. Belmiro Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir de Barros having to interfere. Gilberto Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes, Cacá Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tulu FC and the Vitorinos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vitorinos booed when Tulu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Gilberto Dantas made a precise shot to the right of Caco Goiano. Tulu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Tulu FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vitorinos were winning 0-2.

Moisés Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Gilberto Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Caco Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilberto Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Caco Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Tulu FC's goalkeeper Caco Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Dantas. Caco Goiano stood somewhat misplaced when Iuri de Queirós came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 70 minute. Tulu FC's Caco Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Tulu FC from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Vitorinos's Iuri de Queirós dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Tulu FC's Ricardinho Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vitorinos's goalkeeper Vladimir de Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jano Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tulu FC's protests and gave Jano Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tulu FC! Caco Goiano went to the wrong direction when Bernardo Cordeiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Vitorinos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
