Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Jarbas Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Doni Alvarenga notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sabugi EC's Sandrinho Galvão. Sandrinho Galvão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Anselmo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Sabugi EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Neto couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tempero's Doni Alvarenga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sandrinho Galvão. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 37th minute, Armando de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tempero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tempero's goalkeeper Nelsinho Vidal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, Júlio Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tempero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabugi EC the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Tempero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Gilmar Linhares sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tempero's Nelsinho Vidal didn't even have to move. Gildo Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Nelsinho Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anselmo Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Sabugi EC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando de Souza came free, but Sandrinho Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, one of Sabugi EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Tempero. Délio Zonta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sandrinho Galvão. 4-0. 67 minutes into the match, Doni Alvarenga notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Sabugi EC's Sandrinho Galvão. Sandrinho Galvão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Brito during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacinto Brito hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sabugi EC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alexandre Vasconcelos hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Délio Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 84 minutes of play Tempero's Júlio Ribeiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Felippe da Mata's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nelsinho Vidal firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gildo Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabugi EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
