Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Arce started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Skinny Bros F.C's Vivaldo da Costa got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Isaltino Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabrício Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrício Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Skinny Bros F.C got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Castro. Paulo Arce might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurício Marquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Arce ran back to his position shaking his head. Maurício Marquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Sampaio's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Nico Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Aloísio Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Novaes, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Skinny Bros F.C's Giovani Teles got control of the ball when Isaltino Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Paulo Arce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Maurício Marquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Luiz Fernando Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fernando Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovani Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Luiz Fernando Fernandez made the kick off in the second half. If Nico Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aloísio Oliveira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. Paulo Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Messias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmeiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skinny Bros F.C the free kick. In the 57th minute, Arnaldo Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nico Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Marquez having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Sampaio got free with Maurício Marquez in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Skinny Bros F.C's Nico Sampaio got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maurício Marquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Arce's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Nico Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Skinny Bros F.C's Paulo Arce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurício Marquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Giovani Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Neves in the 74th minute of play. Isaltino Neves scored 2-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovani Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaltino Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Giovani Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nico Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaltino Neves might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovani Teles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaltino Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Skinny Bros F.C getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Carlinhos Teles hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skinny Bros F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palmeiras.
