Ismael Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovani Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Hermes in the 16th minute of play. Benê Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ronaldinho Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Conani booed when newcastleBR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Geovani Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Eger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ismael Paranaense, 2-0. Egídio Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Paranaense having to interfere. If Benê Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Zonta having to interfere. Conani's Geovani Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Hermes in the 46th minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Ronaldinho Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldinho Eger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Cabral's late challenge caught a newcastleBR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Conani fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Leonardo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Zonta having to interfere. Egídio Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, newcastleBR's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Eger came free, but Ismael Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Egídio Lira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Paranaense was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ismael Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benê Toledo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Geovani Zonta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benê Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Geovani Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Conani fans cheered their team off the field, for while newcastleBR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
