Clube de Regatas Maganha's Wilton Paranaense shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicolas Pirani but with some difficulty. Nicolas Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir da Rocha in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Amadeu Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldir da Rocha in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Pirani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Wellington Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cido Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Arnaldo do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Trevisan in the 28th minute of play forced Clube de Regatas Maganha's goalkeeper Arnaldo do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tião da Mata's late challenge caught a Clube de Regatas Maganha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tião da Mata helped the player get up and apologised. Nicolas Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Trevisan in the 42nd minute of play forced Clube de Regatas Maganha's goalkeeper Arnaldo do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. During the 46th minute of the match João Augusto Tasso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave João Augusto Tasso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilton de Carvalho was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Clube de Regatas Maganha's Waldir da Rocha got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Cido Trevisan came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FlinstonLusa EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cido Trevisan couldn't finish the play. Nilton de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellington Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo do Nascimento having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Cido Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FlinstonLusa EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cido Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo do Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Clube de Regatas Maganha's zone, Wellington Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo do Nascimento came out of the goal and Wellington Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wellington Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldir da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldir da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Waldir da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Wellington Vieira struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Arnaldo do Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FlinstonLusa EC. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube de Regatas Maganha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rui Esteves was slow to take the kick. During this time FlinstonLusa EC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Trevisan in the 85th minute of play forced Clube de Regatas Maganha's goalkeeper Arnaldo do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Waldir da Rocha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 87th minute, Waldir da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cido Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute Cido Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Clube de Regatas Maganha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FlinstonLusa EC's performance. The match ended with a win for FlinstonLusa EC.
