Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vicente de Sena started the match with the kick off. If Luiz Paulo Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Futgol fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Futgol's Tony Arantes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vicente de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 11th minute, Adhemar Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 12 minutes, Tony Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futgol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, Futgol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Ramos to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Paracampos SC got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Ferreira. Tony Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Paracampos SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enio Faria fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Paracampos SC's Reginaldo Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Arantes in the 24th minute of play. Cristian Tróia hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paracampos SC's zone, Tony Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reginaldo Simões came out of the goal and Tony Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente de Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinei Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Ferreira in the 31st minute of play forced Futgol's goalkeeper Dinei Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Simões having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Arantes in the 35th minute of play forced Paracampos SC's goalkeeper Reginaldo Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enio Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reginaldo Simões having to make a save. Enio Faria struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Reginaldo Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futgol. Tony Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 47 in the game by Tony Arantes from a close distance when the talented Reginaldo Simões managed to make a qualified save. Paracampos SC's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Vicente de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Linares having to interfere. Cristian Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dinei Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Futgol's Tony Arantes in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paracampos SC's goalie prevented a goal. After 82 minutes of play, Paracampos SC's Cristian Tróia made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinei Linares was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Arantes in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginaldo Simões saved Paracampos SC from getting behind. Dinei Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente de Sena in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Tony Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futgol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
