Nicolas Cordeiro came out of the goal and Manfredo Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute of the match Zé Pedro Goiano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armandinho Cerezo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 15 played minutes real madrid got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Tinoco. Nicolas Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfredo Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Manfredo Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Bittencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 played minutes real madrid got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Tinoco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Veiga in the 24th minute of play forced Guarda's goalkeeper Armandinho Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiano Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfredo Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Cordeiro having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manfredo Bittencourt made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Veiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armandinho Cerezo. Carlos Eduardo Veiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Vito Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Hamílton Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, real madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Reis to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, real madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Bittencourt came free, but Nicolas Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfredo Bittencourt in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 67 minutes, Fabiano Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfredo Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Cordeiro having to make a save. After having played for 73 minutes, Fabiano Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfredo Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabiano Severo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Cordeiro. Nicolas Cordeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 83rd minute Fabiano Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manfredo Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes real madrid got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Reis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Severo in the 87th minute of play forced real madrid's goalkeeper Nicolas Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes, Manfredo Bittencourt made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. real madrid's Nicolas Cordeiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Guarda's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
