When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luiz Fábio Botelho sped through Vera Cruz FN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eusébio Carioca. Nestor Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Arí Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute of the game, Robinho Peres landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 16 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Botelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HELLOWEEN666's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vera Cruz FN the free kick. Luiz Fábio Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Anselmo Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vera Cruz FN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HELLOWEEN666 the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Vera Cruz FN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Romário de Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HELLOWEEN666 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 26 minutes, Adilson Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vera Cruz FN and the HELLOWEEN666 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Vera Cruz FN got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Velasco. After some careless play in the Vera Cruz FN defense, Luiz Fábio Botelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusébio Carioca. The Vera Cruz FN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Carioca should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Romário de Queiroz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Eusébio Carioca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vera Cruz FN's Eusébio Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário de Queiroz in the 36th minute of play. Luiz Fábio Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eusébio Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luiz Fábio Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Anselmo Medeiros notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of HELLOWEEN666's Arí Pinho. Arí Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Eusébio Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Vera Cruz FN's Leandro Godoi got a free kick in the 54th minute. Eusébio Carioca made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Romário de Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. When Anacleto Edorta came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the HELLOWEEN666 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Edorta couldn't finish the play. If Luiz Fábio Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romário de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eusébio Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Vera Cruz FN's goalkeeper Eusébio Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romário de Queiroz. Leandro Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Luiz Fábio Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. HELLOWEEN666's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fábio Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Carioca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luiz Fábio Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fábio Botelho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. HELLOWEEN666's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eusébio Carioca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fábio Botelho's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The HELLOWEEN666 fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when HELLOWEEN666's Romário de Queiroz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th match minute, Vera Cruz FN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Romário de Queiroz notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Vera Cruz FN's Eusébio Carioca. A very good chance. 1-7 became the score in the 93rd minute when Romário de Queiroz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 96th minute Luiz Fábio Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, HELLOWEEN666's Luiz Fábio Botelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio Carioca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. HELLOWEEN666's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
