With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Pontes in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulinho Camargo saved Grêmio F.B.P.A from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Goes SS's Luan Lopes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulinho Camargo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luan Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Paulinho Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grêmio F.B.P.A's Paulinho Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Pontes in the 37th minute of play. Gilmar Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Bueno having to interfere. When Wellington Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Grêmio F.B.P.A fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wellington Abraão couldn't finish the play. Fred Pontes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Paulinho Camargo 69 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Goes SS's Fred Pontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulinho Camargo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Goes SS's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Eger came free, but Pedro Paulo Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Cacá Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio F.B.P.A's zone, Fred Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulinho Camargo came out of the goal and Fred Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 88 in the game by Luan Lopes from a close distance when the talented Paulinho Camargo managed to make a qualified save. Grêmio F.B.P.A's players were relieved. Luan Lopes struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Paulinho Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goes SS. After having played for 92 minutes, Luan Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goes SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luan Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Goes SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
