Luciano Abreu started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Alagoano in the 2nd minute of play forced Cucaia SC's goalkeeper Joélson Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fernando Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fernando Alagoano might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joélson Guedes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Fernando Alagoano ran back to his position shaking his head. Dênis Rocha scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joélson Guedes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Thiago Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Cucaia SC's Luciano Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltazar Maia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ATREVIDOS F.C! Baltazar Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Abreu in the 34th minute of the match. Joélson Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Albertinho Santana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltazar Maia skillfully saved the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dênis Rocha to make the kick off. Luciano Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joélson Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luís Fernando Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joélson Guedes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. Baltazar Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Luís Fernando Alagoano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joélson Guedes having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Linares in the 72nd minute of play forced ATREVIDOS F.C's goalkeeper Baltazar Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Bernardo Linares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Baltazar Maia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luciano Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Luciano Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dênis Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Guedes having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Bernardo Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cucaia SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Linares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
