The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laerte Couto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Marcelo Rosado made a huge save. Vítor Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laerte Couto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Marcelo Rosado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Laerte Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Rosado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laerte Couto ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osmar do Nascimento in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Rosado saved FC Larizza from getting behind. Marcelo Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Vítor Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Marcelo Rosado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lenílson Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Luiz Gustavo Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laerte Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Marcelo Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osmar do Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Osmar do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Clube de Regatas Maganha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osmar do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute of the match João Guerra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Rosado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Larizza getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vitório Bittencourt hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Clube de Regatas Maganha's Mathias Velasco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Larizza's zone, Laerte Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Rosado came out of the goal and Laerte Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Lenílson Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match Clube de Regatas Maganha got a corner. FC Larizza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mathias Velasco ran over to the corner to take the kick. 95 minutes into the match, FC Larizza's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Couto came free, but Marcelo Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Montenegro got free with Luiz Gustavo Monteiro in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
