The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doriva Sousa made a kick off. Grêmio Do Carmo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Grêmio Do Carmo's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Veiga came free, but Vito Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Irati SS's Dino Veiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 82nd minute Erasmo Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Dino Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vito Penha was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Grêmio Do Carmo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
