Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sucurizinho AD's Zacarias Alves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilson Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Alves in the 6th minute of play forced RATOS FC's goalkeeper Paulo Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by RATOS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gerson Penha was slow to take the kick. During this time Sucurizinho AD's players had a chance to rest. Sucurizinho AD's Inácio do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Sucurizinho AD from getting a goal against them. If Zacarias Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, RATOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Alves came free, but Paulo Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Naldo Paulista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Donato showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Inácio do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Zacarias Alves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Donato was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Paulo Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Alves in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, RATOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Mota to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to RATOS FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Juarês Figueiredo hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Elias Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulo Donato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, RATOS FC's Juarês Figueiredo got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Cláudio Araújo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Donato skillfully saved the ball. Paulo Donato came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Sucurizinho AD's Zacarias Alves. But to his dismay, Zacarias Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Zacarias Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Donato having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdemar Barros to make the kick off. After 57 minutes of play, RATOS FC's Valdemar Barros made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inácio do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Sucurizinho AD defense, Juarês Figueiredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inácio do Vale. The Sucurizinho AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inácio do Vale should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilson Hermes during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Gilson Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juarês Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Inácio do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RATOS FC. Paulo Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Alves in the 70th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Juarês Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juarês Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio do Vale having to interfere. Elias Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Paulo Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Donato having to interfere. Inácio do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Barros in the 87th minute of the match. Paulo Donato made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Elias Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
