Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tiago Teixeira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Itacaja AD getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jerônimo da Rocha hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Guto Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Ribeiro in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anderson Coelho saved Itacaja AD from getting behind. Wágner Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Anderson Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Itacaja AD's Anderson Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Teixeira in the 18th minute of play. Tiago Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Anderson Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luís Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Tiago Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Coelho having to interfere. A collision led to Itacaja AD getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Natã Mandrak hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Jarbas Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nervoso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itacaja AD the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Jarbas Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Luís Perezs short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Álvaro do Vale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Luís Perez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tiago Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anderson Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Teixeira in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Itacaja AD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Almir Martins was slow to take the kick. During this time Nervoso FC's players had a chance to rest. Pedro Luís Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro do Vale having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, Itacaja AD's Luís Fábio Félix made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Álvaro do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anderson Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Almir Martins hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Itacaja AD's Luís Fábio Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anderson Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Itacaja AD's Jerônimo da Rocha got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Despite being the better team, Nervoso FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
