Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Franklin Brodel took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vasconcellos AD's zone, Humberto Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Teles came out of the goal and Humberto Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Téo Neto struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Rafa Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mutantes Esporte Clube. In the 7th minute Franklin Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Alex Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anísio Pontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Brodel in the 20th minute of play forced Mutantes Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Anísio Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rafa Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jânio da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Rafa Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Barreto in the 24th minute. Anísio Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Matos in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rony Marquez during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Mutantes Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Rony Marquez. Alex Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Anísio Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anísio Pontes having to interfere. Franklin Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafa Teles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Téo Neto was the one to do the kick off. If Franklin Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Franklin Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Vasconcellos AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franklin Brodel couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Mutantes Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Anísio Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Matos. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Alex Matos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice moves Alex Matos could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Anísio Pontes however easily saved by the left post. In the 65th play minute Alex Matos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anísio Pontes. 0-2. Téo Neto scored 1-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafa Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Vasconcellos AD booed when Mutantes Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franklin Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Vasconcellos AD's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Neto came free, but Rafa Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vasconcellos AD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orlando Quadros was slow to take the kick. During this time Mutantes Esporte Clube's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Orlando Quadros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rafa Teles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
