In the 3rd minute, Belchior Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Anderson Paranaense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder Leal was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, Cabanha-JF's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Paranaense came free, but Elder Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anderson Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Leal having to interfere. Cabanha-JF's Elder Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Paranaense in the 14th minute of play. Belchior Vergílio didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 16th minute. Finlandia AD's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Anderson Paranaense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elder Leal came out and tried to block the shot, but Anderson Paranaense slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. Adilson Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Douglas Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Trigo in the 29th minute of play forced Finlandia AD's goalkeeper Douglas Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serginho Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 40th minute Jano Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jano Bastos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Douglas Sampaio having to make a save. Elder Leal was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Belchior Vergílio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Belchior Vergílio really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0.

If Belchior Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cabanha-JF's Elder Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Paranaense in the 59th minute of play. Belchior Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Elder Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jano Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anderson Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Leal having to interfere. Elder Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Paranaense in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Anderson Paranaense made a precise shot to the right of Elder Leal. Cabanha-JF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Belchior Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adilson Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Douglas Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Nuno Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerson de Azevedo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Cabanha-JF's Adilson Trigo in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Finlandia AD's goalie prevented a goal. Anderson Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Leal having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Finlandia AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cabanha-JF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
