The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Eduardo Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caranahyba SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celsinho Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Trancoso in the 17th minute of the match. Eduardo Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Wanderson Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Belmiro Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Caranahyba SC booed when Sinistro F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belmiro Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caranahyba SC's Christiano Trancoso pulled a muscle in his back after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 32 minutes, Cleiton Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caranahyba SC and the Sinistro F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eduardo Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Nascimento having to interfere. Cleiton Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cleiton Freitas might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celsinho Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cleiton Freitas ran back to his position shaking his head. Eduardo Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Gaúcho was the one to do the kick off. Dráusio Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Sinistro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Brasil came free, but Celsinho Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eduardo Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Nascimento having to interfere. No goal. Sinistro F.C's Celsinho Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Brasil in the 82nd minute of play. Celsinho Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Hamílton Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinistro F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caranahyba SC the free kick. In the 86th match minute, Sinistro F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Nascimento having to interfere. Sinistro F.C's Celsinho Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Maranhense in the 97th minute of play. Celsinho Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Caranahyba SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
