Clóvis Meireles hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Sandrinho Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Cardozo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Conrado de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gamelleiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conrado de Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celsinho Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Sinistro F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Lopes to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Sinistro F.C's Fred Gaúcho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Carlos Cardozo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sandrinho Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Cardozo having to interfere. Clóvis Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Gaúcho in the 43rd minute of play forced Gamelleiras's goalkeeper José Carlos Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celsinho Nascimento was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Renatinho Pereira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Renatinho Pereira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Celsinho Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado de Carvalho in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado de Carvalho in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celsinho Nascimento saved Sinistro F.C from getting behind. Celsinho Nascimento came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gamelleiras's Renatinho Pereira. But to his dismay, Renatinho Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 67th minute, Conrado de Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrado de Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celsinho Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado de Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Celsinho Nascimento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renatinho Pereira went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Sinistro F.C's Sandrinho Galvão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Celsinho Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Pereira in the 78th minute of play. Renatinho Pereira took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celsinho Nascimento. Celsinho Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Conrado de Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celsinho Nascimento having to make a save. 86 minutes into the match, Sinistro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Pereira came free, but Celsinho Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Renatinho Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sinistro F.C's Celsinho Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Carlos Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 94 minutes, Belmiro Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sinistro F.C and the Gamelleiras players grew even worse after the yellow card.
