In the 24th minute, Aníbal de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Abobral's Luiz Guilherme Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Ramalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
