The supporters of Nage booed when Team Hard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Augusto Zilles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Wilton Sampaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nage. Edu Quadros was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Américo Mota capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Américo Mota really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Lenílson Rodrigues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edu Quadros. Nage's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lenílson Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 22nd match minute, Nage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Souto to maneuver through the defense. Juan Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beto Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Edu Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Hélder Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Hard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edu Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Lúcio Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nage's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilton Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lúcio Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilton Sampaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Nage's Vicente Cerezo suffered a sore thigh after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 43 minutes, Lenílson Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Hard and the Nage players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lúcio Albuquerque to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Team Hard's zone, Régis Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilton Sampaio came out of the goal and Régis Valladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edu Quadros having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Team Hard's zone, Léo Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilton Sampaio came out of the goal and Léo Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Régis Valladares's late challenge caught a Team Hard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Régis Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Régis Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Team Hard's Wilton Sampaio got control of the ball when Lúcio Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lúcio Albuquerque struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. When Edinho Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Nage fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinho Maranhense couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Team Hard fully deserved thier win.
