Cido Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute Durval Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Paulo Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Nogueira in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Nogueira in the 21st minute of play forced North Korean's goalkeeper José Paulo Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Paulo Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. North Korean's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leonels FC the free kick. Durval Soares succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. José Paulo Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
