A wasted opportunity for Janduis SS. 10 minutes into the match, Tostão Vinhas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Barcelona F.C's Fabrício Netto. Fabrício Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute, Tostão Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabrício Netto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Janduis SS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ismael Aparecido 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The supporters of Barcelona F.C booed when Janduis SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Botelho, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. After the first half Janduis SS were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Aparecido made a kick off. With his leg Fabrício Netto managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Janduis SS's Felippe Gonçalves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Tostão Vinhas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabrício Netto. That made the score 2-4 in the 91 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Vinhas in the 94th minute of play forced Barcelona F.C's goalkeeper Fabrício Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Janduis SS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
