Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tostão Vinhas started the match with the kick off. Acácio Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Vinhas in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, João Vítor Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Felippe Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felippe Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Prado having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Janduis SS's Marcos Donatello got a free kick in the 20th minute. Christiano Viana made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fabiano Brasil sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Cerezo's late challenge caught a Janduis SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Coromandel's Francisco Cerezo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Felippe Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Acácio Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acácio Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Vinhas in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Coromandel's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evaristo Matorin was slow to take the kick. During this time Janduis SS's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tostão Vinhas in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Acácio Prado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Evaristo Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Tostão Vinhas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Coromandel's Acácio Prado. Acácio Prado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
In a very dangerous position, a player in Janduis SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Coromandel's goalkeeper Acácio Prado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Tostão Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coromandel's Acácio Prado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Coromandel's zone, Tostão Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Prado came out of the goal and Tostão Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Felippe Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Janduis SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felippe Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felippe Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Acácio Prado made a huge save. In the 85th minute Tostão Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes Janduis SS got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Gonçalves. Tostão Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
