Robinho Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Zé Roberto Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Fernandez having to interfere. When Robinho Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Rebentao EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robinho Cardozo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Cipriano Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebentao EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Roberto Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Robinho Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Atletico Nazare's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robinho Cardozo. Robinho Cardozo took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Roberto Fernandez. Zé Roberto Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Robinho Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Fernandez made a huge save. Robinho Cardozos short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Zé Roberto Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute, Armandinho Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of Zé Roberto Fernandez. Atletico Nazare's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Robinho Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Fernandez having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Robinho Cardozo made the kick off in the second half. Luciano Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Costa got free with Luciano Marquez in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Cardozo in the 56th minute of play forced Atletico Nazare's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rebentao EC's Abelardo Valle got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Nazare's zone, Inácio Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Roberto Fernandez came out of the goal and Inácio Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Robinho Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armandinho Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes, José Vítor Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Nazare and the Rebentao EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Atletico Nazare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Zé Roberto Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Cardozo in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Robinho Cardozo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rebentao EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
