Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sérgio Sabóia started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sérgio Sabóia in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the game, Atletico Nazare's Patrick Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toninho Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gino Aparecido hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Zé Roberto Maia, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Edgar Gaúcho took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Roberto Fernandez. Zé Roberto Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Sabóia in the 29th minute of play forced Atletico Nazare's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simão Luz to strike the kick off in the second half. Simão Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Paiva having to interfere. Toninho Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Costa in the 64th minute. Gino Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Edgar Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Zé Roberto Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Atletico Nazare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Edgar Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Gaúcho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Roberto Fernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Zé Roberto Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Gaúcho in the 81st minute of the match. Gino Aparecido hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Zé Roberto Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Sabóia in the 83rd minute of play. In the 97th minute Sérgio Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Toninho Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Claraval FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atletico Nazare had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
