After 3 minutes of play, Pirajuda FC's Glauco Dionísio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldemar Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glauco Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Alberto Rezende notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cavaru's Waldemar Hermes. Waldemar Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavaru's goalkeeper Waldemar Hermes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cauan Seco's late challenge caught a Pirajuda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauan Seco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Cauan Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovânio de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Waldemar Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovânio de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, one of Cavaru:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Pirajuda FC a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cauan Batista, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cavaru's Waldemar Hermes. 3-0. 26 minutes into the game, Glauco Dionísio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirajuda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavaru the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cavaru's Dagoberto Vidal got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio de Lima in the 30th minute of play forced Cavaru's goalkeeper Waldemar Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Ronaldinho Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Geovânio de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho Araújo got free with Waldemar Hermes in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Cavaru getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. José Pedro Vasconcelos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio de Lima in the 46th minute of play forced Cavaru's goalkeeper Waldemar Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Cavaru's goalkeeper Waldemar Hermes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho Araújo.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovânio de Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cavaru's Waldemar Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio de Lima in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Geovânio de Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Cavaru's goal looked a bit too open when Geovânio de Lima came free, but Waldemar Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Araújo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Waldemar Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronaldinho Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Waldemar Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldemar Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovânio de Lima went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Lenílson Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Vidal in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Geovânio de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirajuda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovânio de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovânio de Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldemar Hermes having to make a save. Waldemar Hermes came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirajuda FC's Ronaldinho Araújo. But to his dismay, Ronaldinho Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 84th minute Geovânio de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio de Lima in the 88th minute of the match. If Ronaldinho Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovânio de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
