In the 4thth minute of the game Conrado Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amaralina FC's Erivaldo Paulista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Amaralina FC got a freekick which was hit by José Sá. Erivaldo Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Massa in the 5th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan das Neves in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 played minutes Amaralina FC got a freekick which was hit by Nando Valle. Conrado Marinho scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erivaldo Paulista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Yan das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Matheus do Valle fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Massa in the 25th minute of play forced Amaralina FC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus do Valle scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juarês Massa to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Juarês Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Amaralina FC booed when Alcantara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Paulista having to interfere. Yan das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ernesto Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Amaralina FC's Nando Valle tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Erivaldo Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Marinho in the 74th minute of play. Erivaldo Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Arósio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcantara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amaralina FC the free kick. Ernesto Félix didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Amaralina FC's Matheus do Valle shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 88th play minute Conrado Marinho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erivaldo Paulista. 2-2. After 95 minutes, Aílton Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcantara and the Amaralina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, one of Alcantara:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alcantara. Amaralina FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alcantara for a fine match.
