Romário Machado hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Conrado Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Alcantara's Juarês Massa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matheus Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matheus Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Maktub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Machado to maneuver through the defense. Matheus Barros acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aílton Leão. Juarês Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Maktub's zone, Conrado Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matheus Barros came out of the goal and Conrado Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maktub's Marco Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Maktub's goalkeeper Matheus Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Marinho. Cláudio Lara hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Alcantara's Conrado Marinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matheus Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Matheus Barros didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. In the 47th minute, Osvaldo Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

After having played for 57 minutes, Juarês Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcantara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conrado Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Barros having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Ernesto Félix successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Juarês Massa struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Matheus Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcantara. Aílton Leão, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Romário Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Maktub's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Marinho came free, but Matheus Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matheus Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Arósio in the 91st minute of play forced Maktub's goalkeeper Matheus Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Conrado Marinho notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Maktub's Matheus Barros. Matheus Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
