Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gláuber Vander made the kick off which started today's match. If Dráusio Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas da Rochas short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Ramiro Esteves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Dráusio Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Maynart fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráusio Carioca couldn't finish the play. Geraldo Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Gláuber Vander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geraldo Mendonça. Maynart's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gláuber Vander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lucas da Rocha made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 27thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ramiro Esteves would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 30th match minute, Maynart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Vander in the 34th minute of the match. Sebastião Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ramiro Esteves made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Dráusio Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maynart's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráusio Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maynart's Geraldo Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Valladares in the 48th minute of play.

Chiquinho Couto's late challenge caught a Thiagueira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chiquinho Couto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Maynart getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Chiquinho Couto hit a great ball. With a little luck, Maynart's Geraldo Mendonça got control of the ball when Sebastião Valladares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Falcão made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Maynart's Durval Rocha. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas da Rocha in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Thiagueira FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Thiagueira FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
