Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wiliam Mattos made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Ipiiba SC's zone, Jairo Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guilherme Neto came out of the goal and Jairo Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ipiiba SC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Arnaldo Donato hit a great ball. Jairo Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Guilherme Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Afonsinho Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mocos EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonsinho Bittencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Mattos in the 22nd minute of play forced Mocos EC's goalkeeper Almir Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mané Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Paulo da Costa hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ipiiba SC's Leonardo Falcão tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Wiliam Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Almir Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiliam Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Mocos EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gualter Abraão was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the game, one of Ipiiba SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Afonsinho Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Neto having to interfere. With a little luck, Ipiiba SC's Guilherme Neto got control of the ball when Jairo Abraão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Almir Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ipiiba SC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Arnaldo Donato hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Natã Salles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guilherme Neto skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Ipiiba SC's Sandro Galvão got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jairo Abraão struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Guilherme Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mocos EC. Jairo Abraão succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 78th playminute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Afonsinho Bittencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ipiiba SC's Guilherme Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute, Mané Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonsinho Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Neto having to interfere. Mocos EC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
