Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abelardo de Castro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abelardo de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás de Souza having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Preguica's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo de Castro came free, but Tomás de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Trapizeiro FC's Abelardo de Castro in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Preguica's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute Abelardo de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gino Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Preguica booed when Trapizeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabino Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Preguica's Rodriguinho Gaspar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Trapizeiro FC. In the 25th of the match, Yuri Gaspar tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but João Pedro Paraense got in the way and made a wonderful save. Patrício Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Gino Queirós got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 31st minute, Patrício Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Rodriguinho Gaspar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Pedro Paraense skillfully saved the ball. Tomás de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abelardo de Castro went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 39 minutes in the game, Yuri Gaspar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without João Pedro Paraense having to interfere. Gino Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but João Pedro Paraense made a huge save. In the 42nd match minute, Preguica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Rocha to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Trapizeiro FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Gaspar was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes, Preguica's Geovânio Figueiredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Pedro Paraense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Preguica reached it. Preguica's Tomás de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo de Castro in the 57th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Preguica got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Tróia. Tomás de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo de Castro in the 60th minute of the match. Yuri Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Paraense having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Preguica got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Prado. João Pedro Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Gaspar in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Preguica booed when Trapizeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodriguinho Gaspar, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Yuri Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Preguica's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuri Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Pedro Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gino Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Preguica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gino Queirós couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Trapizeiro FC's Romário Alvarenga got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Abelardo de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Sabino Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Yuri Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Preguica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Gaspar couldn't finish the play. Luís Fábio Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás de Souza having to interfere. If Luís Fábio Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Rodriguinho Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Preguica and the Trapizeiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Preguica getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Rodriguinho Gaspar hit a great ball. Abelardo de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás de Souza having to interfere. Trapizeiro FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
