Trapizeiro FC's João Pedro Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Berger in the 18th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Ipiiba SC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Alvarenga. 24 minutes into the match, Trapizeiro FC's Abelardo de Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guilherme Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo de Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Ipiiba SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Neto should have stopped the shot. Patrício Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Trapizeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Mattos came free, but João Pedro Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abelardo de Castro went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the game, Tarcisio Fantini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipiiba SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trapizeiro FC the free kick. There was no doubt that Trapizeiro FC were the better team. Trapizeiro FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
