When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Pedro Luís Marques put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mané Rossi. Mané Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Luís Fernando Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otávio Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vivaldo Valadares was the one to do the kick off. Lenílson Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
