Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Laerte Nunes took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alpha Stark's goalkeeper Vânderson Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute, José Augusto Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If José Augusto Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Augusto Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Pedro Paulo Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Serido getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Adhemar Arce hit a great ball. Laerte Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renan Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Mendonça having to interfere. When Perivaldo da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serido's protests and gave Perivaldo da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Perivaldo da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Paulo Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Borges in the 22nd minute of play. Túlio Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Túlio Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Túlio Tróia hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. José Augusto Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Paulo Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Augusto Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Alpha Stark getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gilvan Paraense hit a great ball. Laerte Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Vânderson Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serido's Perivaldo da Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Washington Siqueira hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Laerte Nunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vânderson Mendonça. The goal made the score 1-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Augusto Borges was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, José Augusto Borges recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Paulo Vale. José Augusto Borges showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Túlio Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomé Barreto's late challenge caught a Serido's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Barreto helped the player get up and apologised. Tomé Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Vânderson Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Laerte Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Serido's Renan Cordeiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Laerte Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serido's supporters rose to their feet, but Laerte Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vânderson Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Gilvan Paraense fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Augusto Borges in the 100th minute of play forced Serido's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
