Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mathias Peixoto made the kick off which started today's match. S.E. Vila Mariana's Jere Bowen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Vila Mariana from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Vila Mariana's zone, Kauã Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jere Bowen came out of the goal and Kauã Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Putfire getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cícero Toscano hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Mazinho Hoffmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Magno Bueno skillfully saved the ball. In the 11th minute Ted Österlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of S.E. Vila Mariana booed when Putfire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the S.E. Vila Mariana defense, Baltazar Batista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jere Bowen. The S.E. Vila Mariana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jere Bowen should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Putfire's zone, Ted Österlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magno Bueno came out of the goal and Ted Österlund tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 23rd minute Agnaldo Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jere Bowen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Vila Mariana's zone, Mathias Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jere Bowen came out of the goal and Mathias Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kauã Paraibano struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jere Bowen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putfire. Magno Bueno came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E. Vila Mariana's Mazinho Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Mazinho Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ted Österlund made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Putfire's Cícero Toscano. Mathias Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jere Bowen made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Mathias Peixoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jere Bowen. S.E. Vila Mariana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Peixoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ted Österlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Österlund to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Baltazar Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Putfire's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jere Bowen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mazinho Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Bueno having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Österlund got free with Magno Bueno in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jere Bowen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Prado in the 63rd minute of play forced Putfire's goalkeeper Magno Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jere Bowen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Putfire booed when S.E. Vila Mariana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Prado in the 68th minute of play forced Putfire's goalkeeper Magno Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Putfire got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Paraibano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Österlund got free with Magno Bueno in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Magno Bueno managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when S.E. Vila Mariana's Mazinho Hoffmann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 74th match minute, Putfire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. When Mazinho Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the S.E. Vila Mariana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazinho Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. S.E. Vila Mariana's Ted Österlund got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Putfire got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Batista. Jere Bowen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Peixoto in the 84th minute of play. Ted Österlund came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Magno Bueno could save by the left post. Putfire's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
