In the 17th match minute, Goiaberira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Cabral struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Marcelinho Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio Copêro. Emílio Coutinho made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Wiliam de Senna sent off a good shot on target. Marcelinho Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelinho Carneiro in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Grêmio Copêro getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jonathan Cabral hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Marcelinho Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Brito having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Grêmio Copêro's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Cabral came free, but Emílio Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Luís Fernando Cabral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Emílio Coutinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute, Wiliam de Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goiaberira SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Luís Fernando Cabral took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio Coutinho. Emílio Coutinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 78 minutes into the game, Albertinho Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Emílio Coutinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 91 played minutes Goiaberira SS got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Santana. Emílio Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
