Cesinha Moura hit a great ball. Percy Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Cafu de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Ciro Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12th play minutes Mathias Queirós shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Guilherme Gomes and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Queirós in the 17th minute of play forced Annapolis's goalkeeper Guilherme Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Percy Coutinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cafu de Almeida skillfully saved the ball. Guilherme Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro da Fonseca in the 27th minute of the match. Alexsandro da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Guilherme Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mathias Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Queirós struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Guilherme Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quinta. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexsandro da Fonseca to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Quinta's goal looked a bit too open when Percy Recife came free, but Cafu de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Annapolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Vander to maneuver through the defense. If Mathias Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58thth minute of the game Alexsandro da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Annapolis's Guilherme Gomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Igor Teixeira sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Guilherme Gomes threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Igor Teixeira this time. Quinta's Igor Teixeira spiked a well placed long shot which went just inside the left pole, with no chance at all for Guilherme Gomes. Resulting in a 0-2 score after 67 minutes. Quinta's Rafael Pitta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Guilherme Gomes but with some difficulty. In the 78th minute, Luís Eduardo Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexsandro da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilherme Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Percy Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Annapolis booed when Quinta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Percy Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annapolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percy Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quinta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
