Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Morada's Augusto Saraiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Augusto Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Evandro Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Luís Eduardo Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morada's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Eduardo Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Roger Peixoto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Morada's Evandro Prestes. Evandro Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Morada! In the 18th minute, Augusto Saraiva fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Morada's Alexsandro Falcão was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernardo Carvalho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Roger Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Cláudio Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pompeia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Morada's Cláudio Mineiro got a free kick in the 28th minute. Pompeia's Carlos Augusto Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Augusto Saraiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Carvalho was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. When Luís Eduardo Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Morada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Eduardo Toledo couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Fred Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pompeia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morada the free kick. Morada were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Pompeia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexsandro Falcão took the corner. Morada's Alexsandro Falcão was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernardo Carvalho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pompeia! The referee gave Morada a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alexsandro Falcão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pompeia's Bernardo Carvalho. 1-2. If Augusto Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Morada players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pompeia were winning 1-2.

After 55th play minutes Augusto Saraiva shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Bernardo Carvalho and just under the crossbar into goal. Luís Eduardo Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bernardo Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute of the match Sidney Romero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Carvalho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Pompeia defense, Augusto Saraiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Carvalho. The Pompeia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Carvalho should have stopped the shot. 4-2 became the score in the 75th minute when Luís Eduardo Toledo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Morada's Luís Eduardo Toledo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Augusto Saraiva took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Carvalho. Bernardo Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Bernardo Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Saraiva in the 90th minute of the match. Samuca França charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuca França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Morada had played much better football throughout.
