Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcinho Neves took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Marcinho Neves made a precise shot to the right of Frédson Barral. Trempes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Marcinho Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frédson Barral. Trempes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcinho Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Marcel Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Barral having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Sidney Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trempes and the Celeste 50 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sidney Dantas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Marcinho Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermínio Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Cearense in the 22nd minute of play. Marcel Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Eduardo Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Barral having to interfere. Frédson Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcinho Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Carlos Eduardo Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Trempes defense, Zé Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frédson Barral. The Trempes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frédson Barral should have stopped the shot. Marcel Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frédson Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcinho Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Marcel Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trempes's Frédson Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Trempes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Celeste 50 were winning 0-3.
51 minutes into the match, Trempes's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Neves came free, but Frédson Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Marcinho Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Váldson Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Celeste 50 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Váldson Cardozo couldn't finish the play. Marcinho Neves took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frédson Barral. Frédson Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Marcinho Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Frédson Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédson Barral came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Celeste 50's Marcinho Neves. But to his dismay, Marcinho Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. If Marcinho Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Renan Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renan Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frédson Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Souza in the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Marcel Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celeste 50's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frédson Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 88 minutes, Marcinho Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celeste 50's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcinho Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renan Tinoco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frédson Barral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Frédson Barral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcinho Neves in the 93rd minute. After 96 played minutes Celeste 50 got a freekick which was hit by Zé Borges. Celeste 50's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
