If Wágner Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Gino Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute José Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias de Godoy charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias de Godoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Futuro's Geovânio Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Hoffmann in the 14th minute of play. Ibicoara's Gino Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Bittencourt in the 18th minute of play. José Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gino Bastos came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Futuro's Eduardo Bittencourt. But to his dismay, Eduardo Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ibicoara's Gino Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Bittencourt in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Wágner Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gino Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Eduardo Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dé Favoretto during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Dé Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Eduardo Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, Futuro's Eduardo Bittencourt made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gino Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Ibicoara's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Bittencourt came free, but Gino Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovânio Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ibicoara booed when Futuro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Messiass short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Geovânio Perez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Futuro's Geovânio Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Futuro from getting a goal against them. Gino Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Wágner Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Bastos having to interfere. Eduardo Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gino Bastos having to make a save. 92 minutes into the match, Futuro's Eduardo Bittencourt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gino Bastos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wágner Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gino Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Futuro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
