KevinK2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 minutes, Falcão Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KevinK2 and the Buenolandia AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Buenolandia AD booed when KevinK2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valério Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Buenolandia AD's Jardel Loyola couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KevinK2. The Buenolandia AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KevinK2 were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joélson Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rômulo Galvão in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aílton Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rômulo Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute.
