Wanderson Chaves started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Estremo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Veiga came free, but Pedrão Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reginaldo Matos struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Pedrão Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garapua. Reginaldo Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reginaldo Matos in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrão Abraão saved Estremo SS from getting behind. Pedrão Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Reginaldo Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Reginaldo Matos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garapua fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 35 minutes into the match, Garapua's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Chaves came free, but Albertino Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Charles Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Garapua's Hamílton Gaúcho got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Dênis Tasso struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Pedrão Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garapua. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Reginaldo Matos made the kick off in the second half. Dênis Tasso struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Pedrão Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garapua. When Dênis Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Garapua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dênis Tasso couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Garapua defense, Dieguinho Lago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertino Azevedo. The Garapua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertino Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Albertino Azevedo came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Estremo SS's Charles Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Charles Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Dênis Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Elano Quintal put in a rough tackle. 94 minutes into the game, one of Garapua:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Paulão do Valle shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Estremo SS's attack was well implemented in the 97th minute, but when Paulão do Valle was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The Estremo SS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
