Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué Alcântara in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Siqueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41stth minute of the game Hudson Gerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fahrenheit FC's Scotty Toppinen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Josué Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Siqueira having to interfere. The supporters of Fahrenheit FC booed when Gameleira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josué Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Hudson Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gameleira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hudson Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 minutes, Luisão Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fahrenheit FC and the Gameleira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luisão Magalhães hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Marcelo Coelho's late challenge caught a Gameleira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Coelho helped the player get up and apologised.
